Nabolister was one of the oldest online video sites I am aware of.

Another one would be TV-Links.cc or perhaps Watch-Moves-Links.net

Nabolister was speical however, because it was perhaps the most interactive website. There was always someone there to talk to and they did an excellent job of linking to all the other movie sites so you could quicly find the most recent links to the latest movies which had been posted. The only other site I know of know that has this sort of activity going on might be Quick Silver Screen.

You should also check out Quick Flicks Now, the site owned by one of the Nabolister top Mods (who was named Quick), and is not to be confused with the QSS site above.

As for Nabolister? They were great people, highly dedicated. They will always have my respect. And all they ever did, since they loved movies, (and who doesn't?) was to discuss on their pages places they had seen movies posted. These movies had already been posted on legitimate video sites, mostly places like Tudou, Youku, or Veoh for the most part. Still, it seems that because of folks on Nabolister discussing what movies they had found posted on these other sites, Nabolister had come under legal pressure. It makes no sense since the movies are all sill up and running on the video sites they are posted on. Nabolister was not a video site, it was a collection of blog pages pasted together.

The links to these movies can still be found at the sites I mentioned above, as well as hundreds of other movie site blogs around the web. An excellent place to find movies quickly is also globolister. It is a movie search engine which scrapes the same sites that Nabolister was linked to.

And the status of Nabolister? This is all I know....

Hello Mods and Modettes, i am envis, creator of a site that you might remember as "Nabolister".

i was forced to close Nabolister because the site had attracted the attention of multi-billionaire companies Warner Bros and Walt Disney.

Nabolister beeing owned by only me and me beeing broke like a monkey it seemed unreasonable to try to fight these corporations in court 
and also after reading on the subject of "are sites like nabolister and quicksilverscreen legal?"

i have decided that the nabolister formula was not a winner. for this reason i have withdrawn nabolister.

(note that i have also spend 350 real life dollars on 3 real life lawyers who for that price were not able to provide me with any useful information)

but i have taken some time to rethink the concept of the site and influenced by the information that i could find online about linking laws, 
i came up with a new formula where the site will list more than just pirated videos and will also remove infringing links on demand of the owners (thats right).

for now though it is not called nabolister.com no more... maybe someday it could come back to the old name, 
maybe not i dont know that yet, but what i can tell you is that the new site/formula is finally available at vl.boomforums.com 
and i called it Video Links @ Boomforums.com.
